Many years ago,
the town of Bethlehem
Rested ‘neath the blue
and starry veil of night,
Came angels singing in the sky,
proclaiming the good tidings:
“It’s Nativity!”
Came angels singing in the sky,
proclaiming the good tidings:
“It’s Nativity!”
Humble shepherds found Him
wrapped in swaddling clothes,
Lying in a manger,
deep inside a cave;
His Mother watched Him sleep in peace;
our Saviour, Christ the Lord:
At His Nativity!
His Mother watched Him sleep in peace;
our Saviour, Christ the Lord:
At His Nativity!
He was Born so that
we may become like Him,
We receive today
the greatest Gift of all!
O Holy One, Forgive our sins,
we thank Thee for Thy Love;
And Thy Nativity!
O Holy One, Forgive our sins,
we thank Thee for Thy Love;
And Thy Nativity!
